My day time skincare routine

Most weekday mornings, I wake up groggy and slightly grumpy having being awaken by the sound of the buzzing alarm and occassionally, at the sound of my mom's loud voice (shhh, don't tell her about it!).

But after washing up and feeling much refresh and alive, my less than 5 minutes (or maybe slightly morethan 5 minutes, I've never timed myself, but I seemed to be quite fast) 7-step skincare routine begins in earnest. Time in the mornings are always very precious!

My routine goes like this : -
Cleanse -> Tone -> Eye Serum -> Eye Gel -> Face Serum -> Face Lotion -> Acne Cream (on targeted spots) -> Sunblock (or Makeup Base with SPF)

Seems to be quite long and tedious but actually its quite fast! Really! I ain't kidding!

In the mornings, I like to use light but hydrating products as I work in the office and the air conditioning is seriously drying up my poor skin!

My current HG "food" for my skin is the Etude House's (EH) Aqua Sherbet range... Hydrating and yet not sticky or tacky and doesn't cause my skin to breakout!

EH Aqua Sherbet Skin Toner, EH Sherbet Serum,
EH Aqua Sherbet Lotion &EH AC Clnic Red Spot Balm
As for my eye area, I use the Beautymarker Aquamarine Hydrating Eye Serum and Clarins Eye Contour Gel (this is my Nth tube).

I'm not too sure about others, but I really really really like the Clarins Eye Contour Gel as it really does a fanastic job at depuffing the eyelids! Although, as I grow older, I find that it is not hydrating enough but nevermind, I can always supplement with a eye serum underneath!

I suffer from allergies that sometimes causes my eyelids (both upper and lower) to swell, the the only thing that can help reduce swell is the Clarins eye gel, although the swell doesn't dissipate completely, at least it helps to soothe it down and I can open my eyes bigger. Sometimes the swell is so bad that I cannot open my eyes (caused by drug allergy, other allergies doesn't cause my lids to swell as bad). This product is one thing I never stopped buying from Clarins. But then again, it works for me, it might not wrok for you.

Lastly, for my sunblock, I am using Avene Very High Protection Emulsion 50+ SPF for normal to combination senstive skin or Beautymarker Light-Primer SPF 30 PA++.

Ok, that's all! Night to all!
