anyone a fan of air supply?? or have you ever heard of air supply?? hehe.. last evening it was "Air Supply From The Heart - Tour 2008", and lucky me, my bf bought us tickets~ he isn't a big fan (neither am i) but i am a small fan of their songs!

when i told my friends that i am going to their concert, their reaction was "What?!" why spend good money going for a concert by uncles..? but, last evening, these 2 uncles (along with the keyboard player,drummer, bass guitar player) bought the house down! the concert was GREAT!!! the crowd was responsive and supportive, there were really a lot of air supply fans at the concert!
by the way, there were many other young people (like me) at the concert last evening. this shows great music can appreciated by all!
here's some of the shows they performed (not in sequence):
its a well-known knowledge that i totally heart cosmetics and in pursue of my "passion" i possess a modest amount of "assets". i am assets rich but cash poor.. haha..
thought i own a small fortune of cosmetics i don't really like to bring them around, i prefer them to "relax in the comfort of their homes" ie my drawers.. :) i usually bring only the essentials but the "essentials" i bring around depends on the locations, the circumstances, the amount of hours i will be out.
first up, i shall introduce my makeup bags..
my first ever expensive makeup pouch.. from kipling winter 2003. if i remember correctly, this cost around $25 (it was an impluse buy O_o). i like the material as its waterproof, and because of the big zip i can hand it, i can hang it behind the toilet cubicle door's hook.
the only downside is that i don't usually put that many things inside and my cosmetics kept jostling around.
the above ugly one is from muji.. the reason i bought it is because its small (just enough to store my 4 essentials, refer to below), a little padded and affordable (cost around $8).
i really like this one because there's two compartments to separate the suffs and it can hold a decent amount of things. this came free with a japanese magazine that i buy monthly. the cons is it is full of holes, not padded and it's not pink.. T_T
what do i haul along with me???
don't get me wrong, i don't bring so many things with me, but most if the above items are what i had in my makeup pouch when i was working and the pouch was a permanent resident of my office drawer. (i used the word "was" instead of "is" as i now currently no longer working)

seems like a lot.. haha.. but i don't carry them around otherwise i will get a shoulder ache! ooh yar! in addition, sometimes i do bring along eyeshadow & lipgloss that i am using that day to touchup.
this 4 items are my "must bring" essentials. without them i'll surely die... a hair brush to tame my frizzy hair, did i mention this muji hair brush can remove static?! when i brush it thorough my hair, i can always hear the "tak tak" sound.
my eyedrop, the saviour for my dry eyes, lip balm and hand butter. i usually just bring these 4 with me wherever i go. occasionally i do bring along my lipgloss but even when i bring them along, i often do not reapply. lazy me.. haha. maybe thats why i can never finish my lipglosses..
PS a piece of good news.. my ex-manager called me yesterday and told me that they are waiting for the HR director to approve the papers and upon approval, i can go back there to work~! Woohoo~!
i really enjoy working at singhealth hq.. i have great colleagues (even the aunties are nice), i made friends, i learnt how to play table tennis.. although my job scope is a little boring and the pay sucks.. but these don't really bother me that much (it does bother me a little though..) what i like is the working environment.. the people there have no airs, even the directors and managers are friendly and have no airs whatever so.
i really really really hope the hr director will quickly approve the papers and i can get my arse back there quickly! i miss my friends and my lunch time table tennis sessions!!
also, hopefully, my bf will get this job he wants and then treat me to a scrumptious meal and buy me presents when he gets his first pay! hehehe..

The description printed on the front of the bottles say that, "Collagen & Silk Essence Repair Your Damaged Hair Just Like It's New Born". i really hope that it delivers what it promises!
for the repair series, there's 3 types available, the blue, pink & yellow. the blue one promises smooth & moisture, pink is for deep moisture & yellow is for shine & moisture. hopefully this blue range works for my slightly damaged hair with dry ends and itsy bitsy oily scalp. *keeping my fingers crossed*
i can't wait to start using these two babies... but first, i have to finish using my face shop changpo shampoo & conditioner. this range is good at kepping my hair straight and shiny but does nothing for my dry-ends..
i still have to finish my shiseido tsubaki & my rebonding shampoo & conditioner!! X_x the tsubaki is pretty good espcially when used together with the treatment but the rebonding shampoo & conditioner keeps my hair ends happy, but makes my scalp even more oily! moreover, the fragrance is too strong for my liking .
and there's the deep cleansing shampoo... scalp shampoo... and the hair masks/treatments/packs... >_<
i have too many shampoos & conditioners to rotate... in comparison, i have only 1 body soap and 1 liquid body soap...
travelled from Central Mall to Parco Bugis Junction and finally back to Citylink Mall.. phew.. but only managed to get these 2 things... bought too little stuffs to satisfy the shopping queen in me.. but this might be a good thing because i have not much cash to spare... T_T i haven't been working for 6 weeks!! i need a job!!
Pray that my manager will call me tomorrow and bring me good news!!

my first ever bling bling sandals.. cost $39.. X_x from charles & keith. i saw another very nice pair of green shoes with chunky heels.. but as much as i like it, i know that i wouldn't wear it often, flats or low wedges is more my cup of tea..

last saturday, my parents bought a Panasonic fridge from them and had a box of chocolates as free gift (of course, they had to go down to the Sins counter to get the chocolates).
and no, obviously its not because of a box of chocolates that made my parents buy a new fridge. our current fridge is leaking a little and my parents think that its time to change a new one since its the GSS now.
do you know that a new desktop computer can easily cost more than a 2-doors fridge? the cheapest (2-doors) fridge i saw was only $699!!

on tuesday, right after my exams, i went to vivo city and buying my mini 'spree'.. let me recall what i gotten... erm.. 2 Canmake nail polishes, Canmake undereye concealer, ZA Concealer Perfection..
and yesterday, i went shopping with my mama and she coerced her into buying SALA shampoo & conditioner, Asience Essence Lotion, Biore Cleansing Oil, and also lots of underwear~!! hahaha
i wonder why, but i am very into concealer these days, have totally ditched applying foundation.. for the past few months, my daily base makeup only consist of sunscreen, pore-minimising product, concealer and loose powder.
even though i stopped putting on foundation, i still have lots of clogged pores.. T_T and recently, due to stress from exams, i got a breakout on my cheeks.. >_<
PS i just realised that this is my longest blog entry since god-knows-when.. haha
