The KBS TV2 miniseries "Hwangjinyi" starring actress Ha Ji-won has advanced to the main competition on the 2007 Monte Carlo TV Festival.The KBS International Cooperation Team said that the series was introduced at the MIPTV in Cannes, France in September last year before it went on the air in Korea, and drew attention from European and Japanese buyers.Previously, KBS' 2005 current-affairs program "Tracking 60 Minutes - A Duet of Hope and Dispair" advanced to the festival's main competition.Meanwhile, KBS TV2's infotainment show "Sponge" is currently competing at the 47th Rose d'Or in Switzerland.

Hyun Bin's Fan Meeting in Japan Sold Out
A thousand out of a total of 5,000 tickets to an event preceding the premiere of the TV drama "Snow Queen" featuring actor Hyun Bin were sold out in just three minutes. The event will take place May 9 at the Tokyo International Forum.The remaining 4,000 tickets were sold out soon afterward.Up to now, actor Bae Yong-jun had been the only actor to have his fan meetings sold out in Japan, which is additional evidence of Hyun's enormous popularity in that country.The Japanese media showed great interest in Hyun, with The Mainichi Daily News calling him "a next-generation hallyu star."The actor's popularity in Japan is expected to soar once "Snow Queen" goes on the air there on May 10 via TV Tokyo.Hyun's upcoming event will also be attended by the production crew of "Snow Queen" and the band Loveholic, which will sing the drama's original soundtrack.

BoA's New Single 5th on Oricon Chart
Singer BoA's 22nd single 'Sweet Impact,' released in Japan on Wednesday, is off to a good start, ranking 5th on the daily Oricon rankings.At the Tokyo Shibuya branch of Japan's largest record chain HMV, BoA ranked 3rd. The Korean female singer is regarded a pop icon among young Japanese people.Her 5th Japanese album 'Made in Twenty' released in January had topped the weekly Oricon chart in the first week of release. Five consecutive original albums released by BoA all topped the chart in the first week of release, indicating her continuing fame in Japan.

P.S. what do you think of BoA's cleavage and her increase in boob size?
