creative zen

more than 2 weeks ago, my beloved Samsung mp3 , exactly 1 year of age, breathed its last and was thrown into the bin. haha.. no, i am just kidding, it wasn't thrown into the bin but was sent for repair. as the mp3 was past 1 year old, it was no longer covered under the Samsung warranty, but luckily, with my foresight, i had bought another 2 more years of extended warranty from Harvery Norman (cost about $30++ i think).

to cut the long story short, i was given a option to either proceed with the repairs of my Samsung mp3 or buy a new mp3, paying only the difference. given the circumtances, i chose the option of getting a new mp3.. and guess how much i paid in total for the newest CREATIVE ZEN??? only $20~!!!

with this darling i can:

ain't it something wonderful?! the original cost was $249, i only paid $20~!! quite a steal isn't it?! my only complain is that its only available in black.. -__-" unlike the Creative Zen Stone which is available in a array of colors.

this time round, i didn't get the extened warranty....
