a couple of days ago, after i woke up from my afternoon nap (was tired from all that studying), my mother told me that the postman came with a parcel for me.. still groggy from sleep, i thought that the postman had delivered it to the wrong place because i hadn't been shopping lately...
then i saw the familiar handwriting on the box.. and i thought, what?! so fast?!?!?! haha.. i'm not making any sense am i? haha..
just a few days ago, my dear dear friend just asked me if i want to buy anything else from US and she can ship it all over together with the abercrombie & fitch tops she bought for me. and just about 3 days after that email, her parcel reached me! i still remembered the other time when i sent her a parcel, it took 2 weeks!!

hopefully, she will also like the contents of my parcel as much as i like hers!
earlier this month, i met up with a friend who came back from her taiwan holidays and needless to say, i asked her to help me get some cosmetics that are not available in singapore!

last evening i had a pleasant surprise when i listen to this song by B'z - Itsuka No Merry Christmas... that's because many years back, i had downloaded a midi file (as ringing tone for my HP) and i instantly fell in love with the melody (my HP then didn't allow mp3 as ringing tone). but to my dismal, the midi filename is "2"... -__-" only until last night did i know it was Itsuka No Merry Christmas~!!
i really like the melody of this song, frankly speaking, i think that the song sounds worst off with B'z singing.. :x

lovers of mika nakashima? then good news for you! here's a few of her mvs and a performance! the songs below are the handful that i like from her... not alot i'm afraid, don't really like her singing that much.. and not to mention that after she being a singer for so many years, she still cannot sing live.. but i have to admit, her singing did improve a little.. =)
some nice but sad MVs and performances from a korean girl group to share.. this girl group is called 'Black Pearl'. to me, they seem to be like SeeYa + .. i'm growing to like them more but still, i prefer SeeYa (and Wonder Girls) any time!
like SeeYa they can sing live and the 4 girls have quite nice voices too! like always, i like the husky low voices of 2 of the girls over the other 2 higher pitches (but equally/more powferful voices).

yesterday, i made a trip back to my secondary school (for the band camp) with my 2 friends, hui jing & shu min. to sidetrack a little, for those who don't know, i was a band member in my secondary school days and i played the alto saxophone.
initially, i didn't want to go back as i wanted to spend the day (trying) to study BUT.. i was coerced by hui jing.... if i went to go back with them, then will she pass me the extra face shop member card..... bad isn't she.. hahaha j/k-ing!
for my cousin's wedding tomorrow, i decided to paint all my 20 nails.. usually i don't paint my finger nails as i do not like the idea of putting nail varnish into my mouth. i suppose that when you eat with your fingers, the nail polish on the fingers will accompany the fingers into your mouth.. so you are literally putting poison into your mouth. though i don't think i ever heard of people getting poisoned by nail varnishes. but that's totally out of the point.
well, back to my nails, the theme this time is pink..^-^ one of my fave colors, and its to match my dress which is some shade of red.. i spent some effort into doing them this time round and i can say that i am quite pleased with the results.

its the time of the year where you will find me extra hardworking, busy studying.... this syndrome only occurs about twice a year between May to early June and November to early December.. haha..
this 2 periods are when i will be in my "self-imposed exile", hiding at home to achieve "enlightenment"....
and this obviously means that my exams are approaching and i have to stop most or all of my social activities (ie shopping, outings, etc) and hopefully with these sacrifices, i will achieve my final goal, which is be pass my ACCA exams asap!!!!
and since i am a free thinker, i suppose i can say this, "May all Gods bless me."
something humorous happened when i was in the ladies' earlier this afternoon.. hehehe.. i was minding my own biz when i saw a handphone slid into my cubicle about 8 inches diagonally away from my right feet and soon after, i saw a hand snaked inside and took the handphone away.. haha..
this is the first time something like this happen to me..^-^if i were to step out of the cubicle the same time as that girl, i wonder how she will feel...
