To me, Taipei is truly a makeup haven! From the counters, I can get NARS, Jill Stuart, Shu Uemura, Sofina, etc. And from the drugstores, I can get Lavshuca, KATE, Majolica, 1028, Nature & Co, Intergrate, etc. It was a good thing I did some research before my trip! Otherwise, I am quite sure that I will be overwhelmed and come home with lots of impulse buys!

Bought two palettes from 1028, a brand by 小凱老師 from Taiwan. Chanced upon them when I was shopping at Watsons.. I was soo happy when I saw them as I thought 1028 was only sold online.
Each of these two palettes came with a free lip gloss and I got the mini eye make up remover as GWP from a drugstore.

Cotton Veil Mineral Foundation SPF25 PA++ in shade 410
I did not buy a lot of base makeup, only this Nature Co powder foundation which I have read good reviews from a Taiwanese beauty magazine and my favourite Shu Uemura mousse foundation.
I simply adore the cute packaging, so cute yet simple! There was a Nature & Co logo embossed on the powder which disappeared after a few uses.
This powder foundation is available in four shades, 205, 405, 410 and 415. The case is sold separately from the refill, the refill comes with a sponge. There is no separate compartment to store the sponge, the sponge lay on top of the powder, separated by a thin plastic sheet. More info about the product

I do not use this as a powder foundation, but rather, as a setting powder with a large powder brush. The powder is very fine and is a good match for my skin tone.
KATE
I did not get a lot of KATE stuff since they are available locally as well.. But I still bought some things since they are cheaper in Taiwan and there were discount/promos going on.
From KATE, I got the Art Dial Mascara, Designing Eye Brows and also got the new Real Create Eyes in BR-2. I also stocked up on the gel eyeliners in BK-1 and BK-2 and also bought a eyeliner brush.
For me, the highlight from these KATE products is the Art Dial Mascara. Instead of a traditional mascara pull-out tube, it comes as a dial tube. You have to twist the bottom of the tube to get the mascara out. So cool! I can't wait to try it!!

I have been lemming for this The Falsies Volumn' Express for some time already. And since it came bundled with a couple of freebies, I decided to get it. The freebies are a lip gel from Dr. Morita and a mini Bioderma Sebum Cleansing Gel.

Generally, I really really enjoying buying makeup (frankly, I really really enjoying buying almost every other thing... Ha!). However, as you can see from the above pictures, I hauled quite a lot of eye make up as compared to other make up items.
