I was at the shopping mall with my mom yesterday and I was on a roll and managed to get quite a lot of stuff!! And lucky for me, most of the stuff I bought were quite reasonably priced.
At Sephora, I bought some skin care items from bareMinerals and fresh.
The bareMinerals Cleanse, Hydrate & Renew set was only 50% discount, down from $72 to $36. It consist of a Hydrating Milk Cleanser, Active Cell Renewal Night Gel and a Hydrate & Nourish Moisturiser.
From fresh, I bought the Rose Face Mask, $85. I have to admit that this is a splurge (and an impulse buy).
From Giant (a hypermart), I found these two pair of shorts! They cost only $12.90 and $13.90 respectively!
From Mango, I bought this cute dress which cost $69. The top part of the dress is quite sheer, I may need to wear something beneath it.
I bought a size S instead of a XS as the shoulders for the XS is a little too tight and also because my mom keep egging me to get the S instead. She kept saying that after my wedding I will get fatter and wouldn't be able to fit into my clothes........... -__-"""
From CK Tangs, I bought a pair of sandals and a pair of flats. They were on offer at $19.90 each!!
Beauty Haul!!
Hi, I am back with a haul post this time round. I don't know what happened, this is only the middle of June and I have already done quite a serious damage to my wallet (specially, to my credit card). >_<
I have some Clarins here..
(sorry, I have lost the receipt, so I do not know how much these stuff actually cost. The total damage is $300ish)
Expert Body Contouring Programme
This set comes with three items, Body Shaping Cream 200 ml, Exfoliating Body Scrub for Smooth Skin 30 ml and Contour Body Treatment Oil 30 ml - all for only the price of the Body Shaping Cream. Good deal!
Body Shaping Cream targets stubborn curves and firms* - I bought it specially for my tummy.. :~(
Exfoliating Body Scrub for Smooth Skin with bamboo powders helps to soften, smoothed and firms the skin*. This is one of my favourite body scrubs as it really leaves the skin as smooth as a baby's bottom.
Contour Body Treatment Oil helps to relax, smooth and reduce water retention*. The therapist at the Clarins Skin Spa taught me apply this oil from the ankles to thighs and rise with cold water to increase blood circulation.
Shaping Facial Lift Wrap
This mask will help to reduce puffiness caused by sleep, stress or heat*. The therapist used this on me during the facial and I really liked it, so I decided to get it since I do wake up with puffy face some times.
Renew-Plus Body Serum
Helps to smooth away roughness to leave skin soft, supple and bright*. The therapist recommend this product to help fade away the awful marks left behind from my back acne. I have only used it once and so it is still too early for any results.
Next, from Philosophy, I have got the Radiant & Refined set for normal to oily skin, $110 and the Water Lily Blossom shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath, $35. I received a one time 10% discount off my entire bill as this is my first purchase from a Philosophy store.
Radiant & Refined set
This set consists of the Purity 3-in-1 cleanser for face and eyes 240 ml, When Hope Is Not Enough Serum 30 ml and Hope In A Jar oil-free gel 60 ml. If I am not wrong, all these items are in full size.
This set is advertised as the best sellers for the first signs of aging for normal to oily skin, provides lightweight, balanced hydration, visibly improved lines and healthy looking glow.
The moisturiser was the main reason to why I bought this set. I could have only gotten only it instead of the set, but it makes more economical sense to get the set since both the cleanser and serum are on the top of my wish list. And it helps that there is an additional 10% discount.
Purity 3-in-1 cleanser is formulated for all skin types, is a cleanser, toner and eye makeup remover in one and it deeply cleanses pores and eliminates makeup build-up*. I have read so much rave about this cleanser and I can't wait to try this out! But first, I have to finish up my current cleanser.
When Hope Is Not Enough hydration antioxidant serum helps to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles, helps reduce the signs of environmental damage and protect against premature aging and is oil-free, quick absorbing formula lightly hydrates the skin*.
I tried this on the back of my hands and this serum is very watery, absorbs fast and not sticky. I have yet to try this on my face yet, so hopefully this will work well on my skin. I really detest products that sits on top of the skin surface and makes skin sticky.
Hope In A Jar oil-free gel this lightweight gel features multiple antioxidants to help defend skin against free radicals, provides optimal hydration and mild exfoliation and amino acids to help condition skin for a beautiful smooth, radiant finish*.
I have previously tried a sample of the it and I really loved it. I don't really know how to describe, but as I applied this skin to my skin, I totally fell in love.. Love the texture, love the feel on the skin.........
Water Lily Blossom shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath
I think this will be one of my new loves. I have only tried it twice, I used it as both shampoo (be sure to follow up with conditioner if you are using it as a shampoo, otherwise I think the hair will be very tangled) and shower gel and its fantastic! It lathers up well and smells very very very good. It has a light floral scent that is not too overpowering. I kind of think that it leaves my scalp feeling rather clean and purified, but maybe it is just me. It rinses off easily and does not leave my skin feeling stripped.
The gifts I received with the purchase.
These are not the only things I have bought! I have nail polishes from Essie, OPI, Etude House, The Face Shop, undies and shower gels from Marks & Spencer, dresses from my favourite store L'zzie... I think I gonna faint when my credit card bill arrives in July...!!!
Thanks for reading!
Bye!!!

Little Stash of Burberry - May 2013
Way back in July 2012, I first posted about my stash of makeup from Burberry Beauty (you can find the July 2012
here). Now, 10 months down the road, I have collected a
little bit more items from this brand.
Overview of the items in their boxes ...
The packaging are a little bit dirty as I reach for them a lot...
You can find swatches of the items are at the end of the post.
First is the Velvet Foundation..
And also the Fresh Glow..
I can't remember the exact prices, but they are around $70-ish.
Instead of layering the Velvet Foundation after the Fresh Glow, what I like to do is mix half a pump of Fresh Glow with slightly more than half pump of Velvet Foundation on the back of my hands. This will help to sheer out the foundation and also to add some glow to the skin. If you want more coverage, just adjust the ratio of the foundation and/or the Fresh Glow accordingly..
I have been using this method for the past many months and even when I switch around my liquid foundations, I will still add some Fresh Glow to whichever liquid foundation or BB Cream I am using. I am like sort of addicted to dewy sheen (but not oily) that Fresh Glow imparts. :)
Fresh Glow also be used alone as a highlighter. Love the sheen that Fresh Glow imparts.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I have bought 2 more of the Sheer Eye Shadow, Porcelain No.03 and Midnight Brown No,21. They are at $46 a pop.
Each eye shadow has its own velvet pouch, mirror and a sponge tipped applicator.
You can tell how much I love Porcelain, since I have hit pan on one of the corners. I believe I may hit pan on Midnight Brown soon, since I have been using nothing but these 2 eye shadows of late.
I will usually use Porcelain all over my lids first regardless of whatever colour combinations I am wearing that day. I find that using this shade all over subtly brightens up my eyelid area.
Midnight Brown, it is in a short is a shimmery brown eye shadow. Haha.. Doesn't sound amazing does it? But I can assure you, it is a very very beautiful shimmery brown that you will not regret buying.
These Burberry's eye shadows are really soft, silky and (in my opinion) are worth the $46.
I currently own 2 full sized Lip Mists as well. Nude Peach No. 212 and also Feather Pink No. 209, each lippie is $43.
I really
♥ the Lip Mists as they are very moisturising, they don't sink into my lip lines and they don't feel heavy on the lips.
Here's the swatches on the back of my arms..
From left to right: Nude Peach, Feather Pink, Porcelain, Midnight Brown, Fresh Glow and Velvet Foundation in 203.
Thanks for reading!! Bye~!!
