Gmarket Haul

I received my Nth Gmarket haul sometime ago, and what's different for this haul is that I didn't have to pay a single cent... Well...... Sort of.. hahaha..

The cost of this haul was "funded" by the refunded excess shipping costs which has been accumulating in my Gmarket account for a long time... :)

I think this is one of my smallest haul, consisting of Etude House, two necklaces and freebies..~!

Heart-shaped and butterfly necklaces +
freebies (hair tie, earring, 2 brooches & a sweet)

My Etude House haul consists of:

The "Good-bye Dark Circle Eye Cream" even comes with this tool to massage the undereye area. I bought this because I was curious of how this eye massage tool works but I am pleased to say that I love this eye cream as well! It is not sticky and absorbs well.

My freebies from Etude House are:

I really like this mirror a lot! Lovely~~!!

Lemming - Foundation

I am going to get a new foundation.... And its going/might be one of the following....

Supplist Poreless Foundation

・SPF23 PA++
・Coverage: Medium
・Finish: Matte
・Skin Type: Normal to Oily
Like a beauty supplement for skin, this powder foundation enhances the clarity of your complexion and gives it a refined, poreless look.

Erases dullness and reveals fresh, bright-looking skin with moisturizing Marine Collagen. Repels both oil and perspiration with Double Resisting Powder to maintain a beautifully translucent finish for hours. Glides on with a feather-light touch and fits seamlessly against skin.

Sounds pretty good huh?

Or the...

Dual Balancing Foundation

・SPF15
・Coverage: Medium
・Finish: Semi-matte
・Skin Type: Normal and Combination

A long-lasting liquid foundation that responds to skin's specific needs. Increases moisture in dry areas. Minimizes shine for a soft matte look. Promotes optimal beauty and balance.

Prismatic Nanopowder evens out skin tone and keeps makeup looking just-applied flawless and bright all day long. Glides on smoothly and stays crease-free. Oil-free.

Also sounds good right?! Any comments on which one I should get?? Or are there any recommendations? Or maybe the Paul and Joe new fluid foundation?????

Harper's Bazaar

Recently, I managed to grab a copy of Singapore's edition of Harper's Bazaar ($5) from Kinokuniya and to my utter amazement, I flipped through the magazine in less than 15 minutes and threw it aside. Totally not my cup of tea...

The only redeeming factor was the retail sized Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm that came FREE with the magazine (while stock last). I read somewhere that this hair product costs $43 :)

Kanebo Haul

On Friday, besides getting the Lunasol 10th Anniversary Makeup Palette, I also bought myself 2 other Kanebo products.
  • Impress PT Essence (30ml)
  • Lunasol Scrubful Wash (100g)

I like both the packaging alot! The Impress PT Essence's bottle is a off-white in color with whitish glitters and comes with a pump! Very classy looking. As for the Lunasol Scrubful Wash, it has a simple and clean silver and brown combination.

The texture of the essence is a clear a runny gel that has a strong weird smell I do not adore, but still it is bearable since the scent does not linger. It supposedly to be good to absorb the oil and to cover pores. The SA told me to only apply on areas with open pores like the cheeks and nose areas and maybe also the T-zone if I want to.

The Lunasol Scrubful Wash, it has a rather nice pepperminty smell, that really perks me up when I'm used it (but so far I only tried it once, and I intend to use it again this evening). The scrub itself is green with very tiny specks of grains which dissolves upon contact with water.

With these 2 purchases (the Makeup Palette does not qualify for any GWP), the GWP I got was:

  • Coffert D'or makeup bag
  • Coffert D'or pink headband
  • Blanchir Make Off Conditioner (4oml)
  • Blanchir Clay Wash Conditioner (50g)
  • Blanchir Clear Conditioner (25ml)
  • Blanchir Milky Conditioner (15ml)

and the generous SA gave me some Lunasol samples to try.

  • Foamy Cream Wash x1 sachet
  • Lotion I x2 sachet
  • Emulsion I x2 sachet
  • Morning Awakening Massage x2 sachet
  • Night Refining Cream x1 sachet

Lunasol 10th Anniversary Makeup Palette

After months of anticipation, the long awaited (well, at least for me!) Lunasol 10th Anniversary Makeup Palette has finally reached our shores! Lunasol was celebrating their 10th anniversary so Kanebo released a limited makeup palette and base makeup kit for $155 and about $120 respectively.

Pictures first!

The makeup palette consists of they best selling eyeshadow quad Skin Modelling Eyes in Beige Beige, Colouring Cheeks in Reddish Beige, Full Glamour Gloss in Beige Coral, High Stylized Mascara in Black and Noble Shade Liner in Deep Brown.

The first 3 items are full sized items while the last 2 items are of smaller size. Full Glamour Gloss in Beige Coral and Noble Shade Liner in Deep Brown are shades specially created for this makeup palette!

As per usual, I have not touched this palette yet.. And I don't think I'll will for the next few months... I still have many other cosmetics I need to use first... I try to stick with the first-in-first-out basis.. haha...

For the Base Makeup Kit it consists of, Modelling Water Liquid Foundation SPF17 PA+ 25ml, Control Makeup Base (full size), Nuance Change Foundation #1 Natural Glow (7g), Under Eyes Base N #1 Natural Beige (2g), Micro Finish Powder N #2 Natural Beige (3.5g), Morning Waking Massage N (10g), Night Refining Cream (10g) and lastly, a bag. This also seemed to be a pretty good deal but ..............................

Bobbi Brown!!

I purposely took the day off on Monday to attend this "Pure Romance Workshop" by Bobbi Brown (BB) that was exclusive for UOB Cardmembers.

Priced at $150 per pax, which is fully redeemable for products, I shall not go into details of what other privileges I am offered..

Initially, I thought that I wouldn't be able to reach the $150 but ............. in the end, my total bill was an amazing $455!! *fainted*

Frankly, I've never spent so much on one single bill before (exclusion applied towards electronics). With the pre-paid of $150 and the $50 Takashimaya vouchers which I won at my Company's D&D, I still had to top up $255!!!!!!!! O_O

Here are what I exchanged with my $455 with...

I've gotten a new liquid foundation after 4 years (I think...) and its my first foundation since 2008... All along I prefer powder foundations over liquid foundations as the former seems to be less messy to use and easier to blend...

I bought the Skin Foundation SPF 15 ($71) which is the newest foundation by BB and its supposed to provide invisible coverage yet providing skin tone perfecting effect, also to be hydrating and long-wearing...

The shade I've gotten is Beige, which matched my skin tone rather perfectly... I have been using it for 5 days and I don't see any significant oxidization, but then again, its only been 5 days, so I cannot really comment on it yet...

I also gotten the Creamy Concealer Kit in Beige ($57) and the Corrector in Bisque ($41) to cover my panda eyes...

When you open the lid of the Creamy Concealer Kit , it reveals a small mirror and the concealer and you open the second lid, it reveals a small pot of loose powder for the eyes. :) And it also comes with a small powder puff (shown in the 2nd picture from the top).

You are supposed to apply the Corrector first to then the Creamy Concealer and lastly the loose powder to set... Alot of steps isn't it!?

Next up (and my final purchase), is the Deluxe Short Brush Set........... which cost me my arm and leg......... Its a whopping $286!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They better prove that they are worth the price......

Left to right: Ultra Fine Eye Liner, Eye Brow, Eye Shadow,
Concealer, Eye Shader, Face Blender and Foundation...

*heartache* I wonder what possessed me on that day to make me so bold to spend my hard earned money so freely...

Thank goodness for such a thing called "Gift With Purchases" which soothe my heartache by a tiny whinny bit...

With a purchase of$250, you get a free Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Gunmental Shimmer Ink and a mini eyeliner brush in a clear plastic pouch. Not too sure if this shade is part of the permanent line...

If you spend above $350, a free Limited Edition (LE) Shimmering Nudes Palette (cost $89)

Left to right: Nude Beach, Nude Mist, Naked,
Nude Glow, Mica, Nude Spice and Espresso.

Forgot all about these... The "amazing" door gifts... I was expecting something more that these......

$180 gift voucher @ THE ULTIMATE for if Body Massage or Face Spa
  • Lip Gloss in Crystal
  • Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Pink Truffle
  • 10-step Beauty makeup instructions handbook
Initially, I had plotted to buy this 4 piece makeup fro Paul & Joe (at $80) at Isetan and Lunasol 10th year LE makeup palette... But if I were to buy these 2, I would have busted my budget for this month.... So I have to strike off one item from my list... :( boohoohoo...

Clarins Blush

Guess what?!?! Finally! I've got a Clarins blush! What's more! In the lastest shade #80 Raspberry! Well, the best part of all is that I don't even have to pay for it! All thanks to something called "Gift Redeemption".

Having being a semi-loyal customer of Clarins, I've chalked up slightly more than 500 points and thus able to redeem a product of my choice and I chose to have the blush.

It even comes with a nice satiny pouch with magnetic buttons! As much as I like the appearance of the compact, it's very easy to leave fingerprints!

It's rather pretty right? I've yet to try it out yet! I'm still in the admiring stage... :)
