Adambeauty haul

Yipee~! My adambeauty haul finally arrived yesterday~~!

I am sooo bad! At one shot, I ordered 4 eye shadows and a box of eye masks!

First up, KATE Reflect Mirror Eyes in BR1 and GN1.

Then, the Visee Brilliance Forming Eyes in A-1 Pink and A-3 Gold. Its my first time buying anything from Visee, lets hope they don't disappoint.. Although from the look of it, I am a bit disappointed already, as the colour seems to be different as shown on the website. But lets hope that the texture, colour payoff, etc will not disappoint!

And~~~~ I also got the KAO Nekurizumu Vapor Relax Hot Eye Mask in lavender! There's 5 pieces in a box.

Haven't try them yet though~!

Cleansing Routine

It has been the longest time since I blogged about my skincare routine, so I suppose its time for me to write an update.. Not sure if any one's keen to read but nevertheless, I will still write about it! Lol~!

(left to right: H2O+ Marine Cleansing Gel (oil-free), Etude House (EH) Mild Cleansing Milk,
Beautymaker Eye Make Up Remover, EH Green Tea Cleansing Tissue,
Kanebo Blanchir Clay Wash Conditioner) & EH House Bubble O2 Cleanser

My morning cleansing routine is very simple... Just 1 simple step, using the H2O+ Marine Cleansing Gel.

On normal work days, I wear sunblock/makeup base, concealer, powder/liquid foundation, loose powder, highlight powder, blush, eyeshadow, waterproof mascara, mascara fixer, lip balm and lip gloss/lipstick.

To remove all these gunk from my skin completely, my evening cleansing routine is somewhat quite tedious.

First, I use the Beautymaker Eye Make Up Remover with cotton pads to remove all my eye makeup. This eye makeup remover is decent enough to remove my heavy duty waterproof mascara and the mascara fixer but I vastly prefer the RMK's Eye Make Up Remover to Beautymaker's as the former soothes my eyelids during the cleansing process! Do I make any sense?

I practise the triple cleansing not the double cleansing method. Scared my skin not clean enough.. Lol~~

Then I massage the EH Mild Cleansing Milk on the rest of the face avoiding the eye area and tissue off after a min or so. Following which I use the EH Green Tea Cleansing Tissue to wipe off any residue and also wipe my neck (because I also apply sunblock on my neck and all over any parts of my skin that is exposed to the sun).

Then I follow up with a facial wash, and depending on my mood, I use either the Blanchir Clay Wash or the EH Bubble O2 Cleanser. Then I will follow up with toner, serum, etc...

Occassionally, I also use the EH Water Proof Lip & Eye Remover Tissue. But I don't recommend this as it doesn't remove waterproof make up AT ALL! A total wash of my $$$.

This is my newest sunblock for my body. So far so good!

By the way, I what works for me might not work for you.

In case you are interested, my skin type is combi, dehydrated, sensitive and acne-prone.

Esprique Precious Haul

This is my first item from ESPRIQUE PRECIOUS! So happy that finally KOSE decided to bring in this sub brand of theirs!

This brand is exclusively launched at Takashimaya, I'm not too sure whether other counters will be selling Esprique Precious at a later date (I forgot to ask!) When I bought it yesterday, The SA told me that its the 2nd day of the brand launch.

I bought the Esprique Precious Dramatical Stay Pact UV EX SPF25 PA++ and it comes with a 40ml Seikisho Perfect Cleansing Oil and in a clear zipper pouch @ only $49!!! It is stated that the total value of this $71.80. The usual price for the Refill is $49 and the case cost $15!! What a sweet deal! And the case that this combo comes in is the limited edition case! Not the usual ugly white one! :x

See the case is soooooooooo pretty!!! And there's only 500 sets available!! Grab yours now!

Just in case you are interested, the shade I bought is OC-410.

This is not excatly an impluse buy as I was actually looking for it online a few weeks back on adambeauty.com, but it was sold out. I received a sample of the Stay Pact UV foundation and the Dramatical Stay Base EX some time back when I bought my favourite Japanese magazine and I really like the feel of the foundation on my skin.

It is very lightweight as if I didn't put on any foundation and it doesn't oxidise badly on my face. Coverage wise is so-so only, not comparable to the Lunasol Skin Fusing Foundation, but Lunasol sometimes tend to look cakey whereas the Esprique Precious does not. But however, the sample I was given was just a tiny one, so this is only my initialy review.

Here's the price list of the items:-
  • True Impact Eyes $54
  • EyeColour Selection N $14 each, case $15
  • Cheek colours $28
  • Glamorous Glossy Eyes $38
  • Dual Pencil Eyeliner $31
  • Dress on Glossy Rouge $35
  • Nail Colour $16
  • True Black Mascara WP $39
  • Pencil Eyeliner Refill $15, Holder $23, Applicator $5
  • Sodt Eyebrow Pencil $15, Holder $23, Applicator $5
  • Lip Liner Pencil $15, Holder $23, Applicator $5
  • Dramatical Stay Pact UV EX SPF25 PA++ Refill $49, case $15
  • Lines Reset $38
  • Dramatical Stay Base EX SPF 20 PA++ $46
  • Moisturising Base $46
  • Purely Veil Powder $43
  • Dramatical Veil Liquid SPF 17 PA++ $59
I thinking of getting the Lines Reset saw it used in the magazine.. hehe~

Mascara

A few weeks back, I went to stock up on my mascaras when Guardian was having a 20% discount when purchase is over $30.

The SA recommended me to get the Gosh Amazing Lengthening Build WP mascara ($14.80). She says that this wouldn't weight the lashes down, so I gave her a benefit of doubt and bought it.

I also bought the Fasio Perfect Lash Builder and the Hyper-Stay Mascara Deep Trick Curl Volume. I have been wanting to try these 2 for the longest time!

Kenneth Cole Watch

Woohoo~! A new watch for me! Fell in love with it at first sight! Initially, I balked at the hefty price tag of $277.10 (its considered to be an expensive item because non of the watches I own cost more than $150), but I caved in after I couldn't stop thinking of it. What made the deal even sweeter was that I bought it at 20% discount! ♥ ♥ ♥

This design seems to be one of the newer ones and I went to 2 shops before finding it! And even though I managed to find the same design, its in a different colour (the only colour available was black) so, I have to ask the sales assistant to order the white one from the Kenneth Cole authorised dealer. I am wearing it right now! =D

In the end I waited for about a week before this watch arrived, and coincidentally there was 20% on the watches!! Lucky me!

Another Gmarket Haul

Once again, I bought something from Gmarket, its becoming a once a month event for me. Its seems like every month I chance upon good deals or I spot something I really fancy <3 ...

Recently, besides getting my usual "dose" of cosmetics and/or skincare, I found that my latest craze is to buy cute, fancy and reasonably-priced stationery! Not that I can't find cute ones locally, but from Gmarket they are much much more expensive and equally (or even more so) cute ! And this time i really spotted some really really great deals, like one for one, or hard cover notebooks for only KRW 2,000! I also picked up some belts, earrings, necklaces and a bag!! This is the most expensive item I ever bought from Gmarket! Like it a lot! Pretty isn't it?!

3 necklaces... They are actually quite cheap... I think no more than $5 each excluding shipping cost.

A very pretty Daisy ring! Its very hard to find rings for me, as my ring size is quite small! This is approximately $10 excluding shipping cost.

And this very pretty mint coloured butterfly~! Fell in love with it on first sight!

A couple of cheap earrings as well.. Star fish and polka dots ribbon. They cost about $3~$5 excluding shipping cost.

My new belts~! Bout 3 this time round, 2 of the same design but different colours. I just realised the belts I bought this time all have ribbons on them! lol~

This belt (below) is my favourite of the 3 (the most expensive one too!)! It matches well with my polka dots ribbon earrings (from above) ^-^

And the cute and cheap stationery I was raving about! Ta da~! A hardcover notebook, a checklist and 2 post-its pads (the post-its are one for one). So freaking cute!!

Random Hauls + Gift

My dear friend came back from Las Vegas recently and she before came back, she kindly offered to help me buy some stuffs from Victoria Secrets!

One of the few things I asked her to get for me is this Too Faced Glamor To Go II. The price to very decent, given that she has 50% discount on all items from the Victoria Secrets website (this palette is from VS website).
I think after the discount, this palette cost me about SG15? At Sephora.com it is retailing at US19.50.

This palette is very compact, about the size of my palm, which makes it a good companion for travel. This nifty little palette contains 8 eyeshadows, a blush and 4 lip glosses!

As per my usual zany self, I've not tried them yet! haha~ Its still in pristine condition, safely in its box.. lol~

One of the gifts she got for me is VS Beauty Rush Cream Shadow in Glampagne :) Thanks friend!

From the prestige warehouse sales the other day, I grabbed a Givenchy Prisme Again I Blush in 04 Charming Violet for $12.

I actually also grabbed a Givenchy Lip Lip Shine! in 556 Beige Shine ($12) and a Paul & Joe Lipstick N in 06 ($8). Loving the Paul & Joe Lipstick N! in 06! Its a nice glossy nude color that makes me looks polished! Think I'll invest in more of them soon... x_x
A new addition to my night skincare routine, the Avene Cleanance K. Loving it! Can't believe that I didn't try it sooner!
Another new addition is this super cute coin pouch which I use to "house" my handphone!

finally! Kanebo haul

Finally!! With some help from a fellow blogger, I managed to solve the missing formatting buttons problem!

About a month ago, BF bought me a Lunasol lip gloss! This gesture really surprised me, even though I was the one who bugged him to get me a cosmetic of his choice, I didn't think that he would get me Lunasol product! And the colour he chose is really nice too! ^-^ He usually discourages me to buy expensive cosmetics so I'm touched that he actually spent $39 on a lip gloss for me!

Also, about a month ago, I bought some Coffert D'or products from the Kanebo counter at Robinsons Raffles City. There was some kind of promotions going on for Japanese brands and the Kanebo one caught my eye.

For $100, you get:

  • Coffert D'or cosmetics pouch (very ugly! I already have a identical one)
  • Coffert D'or Eyeshadow palette of your choice
  • Coffert D'or Lipstick of your choice
  • Coffert D'or Beauty Lasting Pact UV (foundation) refill

I got a eye make up remover for $20 to top my purchases to $120 to get the GWP.. e

The GWP includes:
  • Coffert D'or bag
  • matching cosmetic pouch
  • Coffert' Dor mirror keychain
  • Blanchir Clear Conditioner Sample Set

Sad to say, this is the prettiest Kanebo GWP bag I ever received.. The others are unfortunately quite "auntie" looking which I "donated" to my mum. Can't they make cute ones like Anna Sui or Ettuasis??

The sample set consists of Clear Conditioner 15ml and some cotton pads.. :p

The nice SA gave me some samples to try too!
  • Blanchir Sheet Mask
  • Blanchir Clay Wash
  • Blanchir Clear Conditioner
  • Blanchir Day Condtioner UV SPF 29 PA++
