SK II Cellumination Essence EX Review
I bought this SK II Aura Whitening Set EX earlier last month and this set consisted of a mini Facial Treatment Essence, a piece of Whitening
Source Derm-Revival Mask and a Cellumination Essence EX 30g. At $199 for 3 items, I find it a good deal as the 30g of the essence alone already retails at $199. I did not pay the full price for it as I had some shopping vouchers and also my BF sponsored a little.

Description
The new SK-II Cellumination Essence EX takes a great formula and makes it better with the new Pixel WhiteTM
whitening ingredient. Improve your skin from the cellular level and
experience highly defined, aura bright skin in just 4 weeks*.
I got a sample of this essence as a GWP with my other SK II purchases while I was in Hong Kong last year. It took me about 3 weeks to used up the sample as I only used a small dollop each time and I only used it in the mornings.
Pros
The essence absorbs fast and does not left a sticky after feel (which I detest). My skin feels moisturized after usage and gradually my skin now is no longer dehydrated like how it was in the past.
I also find that my skin looks more radiant and refined than before. But then, it is still no where near perfect as my face still bares the ugly marks of post acne scarring. Not to mention that my skin suddenly became cranky early this week...... I have a few angry pimples glaring at me each time I look into the mirror. :(
Another plus point is that ,this essence does not ball up under moisturizer, sunblock or makeup. Which I find to be every important, as these little white balls will ruin the makeup and it doesn't look nice with all those little balls all over the face.
Cons
I find the price frightfully expensive, as it cost $199 for 30ml. Having used it for about 4 weeks already, I have not seen the whitening effect yet.
This is my typical morning skin care routine these days...
1) Naruko acne clay cleanser
2) Kiehl's Calendula toner
3) SKII FTE
4) SKII Cellumination Essence
5) spot treatment
6) Sonfia beaute Sunblock
I will usually skip moisturizer in the mornings if I plan on using Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer as my foundation. I find my skin will become too oily if I were to use another moisturizer before using the tinted moisturizer. If I am not using the tinted moisturizer, I will use Kiehl's Yerba Mate Tea Lotion before sunblock.

Beauty Haul~!!
Here's some of the things I have hauled in the recent months.
From Asos.com, I ordered these....
A JK Jemma Kidd set that came with a palette and a blush and a box of Paperself lashes.
The lashes are sooo cute!!! Seahorses and fishes!
I bought these lashes for the intention of using them in on one of models for the portfolio shoot but in the end I changed the look that I intended for the model, so I didn't use the lashes... Wondering when can I put these lashes to use...
This Jemma Kidd set got my attention because of the swivel palette... And since I haven't tried any of her products before, I thought why not get this set to try out since the price point is pretty decent.
The swivel palette comes with four powder eye shadows, one cream highlighter, one cream blush, one lip gloss and a pretty big swivel mirror.. :)
This is the In Vouge Perfect Blush in the colour 01 Rodeo Drive. I belive there are two more shades available, 02 South Beach and 03 Apricot.
The Rodeo Drive shade looks pretty, this would have been the shade that I would have picked out myself.
Also, at my local drugstore, I picked up a mascara set from KATE. KATE is my go to brand for mascaras, they have never failed me before, unlike some other expensive counter brands.
This set consists of Mascara Base (my all time favourite) and a Volume Gel Mascara (have not tried this before). Since I liked all Kate mascaras, I am sure I'll like this too.
I have been on this fake eyelashes kick lately, so I couldn't resist it and bought another two pairs of bottom lashes from Canmake.
I have been getting pretty nifty in putting on fake lashes on people but I couldn't figure out how to put them on for myself. I guess the only way to fix this is to practice more!
Lastly, I bought this Aura Whitening Kit Ex from SK-II.
The kit consisted of a mini Facial Treatment Essence, a piece of Whitening Source Derm-Revival Mask and a Cellumination Essence EX 30g.
That's the end of my haul (for now)! Thanks for reading! Bye~~!

I'm back!
Been MIA for a couple of months and now I am finally back! Was kinda of busy with work, classes and other commitments and couldn't find any (inspirations and) time in between all these stuff to blog.
For the last month, I was so caught up with the preparation with the photo shoot for my portfolio, trying out the hair and makeup with my models over the weekends, shopping for accessories to use during the photo shoot, etc.
Now that I have already completed and graduated from my makeup diploma, hopefully I will make a fresh start and start blogging more regularly, since I will have more free time on my hands now! :D
Think I will start by first with a combined haul post and probably a mini review about the new skincare product I have started using in the next post. I will be going on a holiday trip in two weeks time and I am sure I will have more to share after my trip!
Thanks for reading! Bye~!
